Every time I tried to raise the camera to take a picture of these two, they'd turn away, so I had to be a little sneaky and let it hang from the strap and just reach down and press the shutter without aiming. I've done that so much over the years, I'm getting sort of good at it. They could be smiling, which it would make it more Christmassy, I suppose. But what could be more Christmassy, at least in France, that a big pile of cured meats? Including, of course, Foie Gras. I love the stuff.
