With its back to the world, the town of Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego at the southern tip of Argentina, casts its gaze to the South. From here, the southernmost city in the world, the big view is across the Beagle Channel, where Charles Darwin passed through, over the string of mountainous Chilean islands, and beyond to Antarctica.
