The roof of the Sydney Opera House turns gold in the Australian summer sunset. I'm always amazed at what lovely shots I can get with my phone when I was too lazy to carry my big camera.
The Sydney Opera House is a wonder of a view from across the harbor, but maybe even nicer when you get close up and get to admire the construction artistry as well. We saw a wonderful production of Mozart's The Magic Flute there. Did I mention they actually stage opera as well as just looking pretty from the outside?

Impressive! I’m moving to Sydney soon! I can’t wait to see it in person!
It’s a lovely city and we enjoyed visiting very much. To live there, though, I think would be very expensive, especially for those of us who have to live on the weak American dollar. Good luck, and enjoy.
