Sydney Opera House Evening Light

sydney operaThe roof of the Sydney Opera House turns gold in the Australian summer sunset. I’m always amazed at what lovely shots I can get with my phone when I was too lazy to carry my big camera.

The Sydney Opera House is a wonder of a view from across the harbor, but maybe even nicer when you get close up and get to admire the construction artistry as well. We saw Mozart’s The Magic Flute there. Did I mention they actually stage opera as well as just looking pretty from the outside?

Impressive! I’m moving to Sydney soon! I can’t wait to see it in person!

It’s a lovely city and we enjoyed visiting very much. To live there, though, I think would be very expensive, especially for those of us who have to live on the weak American dollar. Good luck, and enjoy.
