Young Women in Traditional Dress, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul, Korea

If you visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, in traditional Korean dress, you get free admission to the complex. We were there on a day where there was also an event featuring traditional Korean music, so the attendees in traditional dress must have numbered in the hundreds.

And, they're all to happy to pose for you, and for each other.

Don't forget the back shot, so you can see the hair ribbons.

I caught these two with a selfie stick. Be prepared to be asked to snap photos for groups.

It was so much fun to talk to the women (and there were also a very few traditionally dressed men) about their clothing and how beautiful they were. And it's also great fun to see people take such pride in their culture.

Korea: lovely country, lovely people.
