We took two days to do not much more than drive at random around the northeast coast of Ireland. A lot of focus on the natural beauty of Ireland is on the more rugged west coast, but the east coast, particularly the north and east coasts of Northern Ireland, also have their attractions. I'm no geologist, so I cant explain why, but Ireland seems to feature long flat topped hills, like these in the distance here and Ben Bulben, that run like fingers to the coast, and then drop precipitously to the sea. Lovely.
